PLANTS FOR THE RECOVERY OF
SAND AND GRAVEL FROM WASTE
coming from street washing
FROM OUR ROADS
A RESOURCE TO BE ENHANCED
During the process of cleaning and washing of our roads by municipal companies, the sweepers collect daily quantities of polluting waste in need of treatment so that it is possible to minimize the fraction inevitably destined for the landfill, while recovering all those fractions of such rejection that represent a real resource .
Our plants for the recovery of sand and gravel from street trash are designed and manufactured to guarantee high quality products (listed below). The extremely reduced environmental impact produced by soil-washing meets compliance and safety standards for most authorities who are responsible for operating concessions. Soil-washing provides the follow products which can become a monetizable resource:
● 60-70% OF SAND, FINE GRAVEL AND GRAVEL
CERTIFICATES FOR BUILDING USE
● 10-12% OF ORGANIC FRACTIONS
CONVERTIBLE INTO COMPOST
● MIXED WASTE
● IRON METALS
● DEHYDRATED SLUDGE
● COARSE MATERIALS 20 / 10mm
Street Trash Washing Plants have three phases:
● SOLID TREATMENT (mechanical plant)
● LIQUID TREATMENT (chemical-physical plant)
● SLUDGE TREATMENT
ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL ADVANTAGES:
● drastic reduction of disposal costs
● recovery of washed materials such as fine gravel, gravel and sand
● resalable materials
